We are in semi lockdown.
Every dat is a weekend for me.

I see the US has 4x more infections than South Africa (per million)
and 9x more deaths (average per million people)

Yes and the numbers are quickly growing because of all the people going out to the bars, protests and restaurants.

Yep, full lock down again, here we come!  :pinch:   Thank you to all the idiots who were in close proximity to others while not wearing masks.

When the number started to go up, that's the time they lifted the ban.

Here too, but all lockdown was, was to prepare the beds and lower the infection curve.
Research in Germany showed that wearing masks slows down the infection rate with 40%.
We should do that to protect the overworked medical teams.

Really?  I thought it would be higher than that.  Well it's still good to wear.

Yep, all it takes a droplet to land on your eye, and these droplets can hang in the air for some time.

My wife’s son-in-law is positive, two days in bed, lost smell, taste.
Her daughter, his wife, sleeping next to him is negative. No symptoms.
It is a lot of teasing in the family of their “lack of contact” as they are very loving.

On no, hope he feels better soon!  How is his energy?  I heard some people get it worst than others.  Others get mild effects of it.

He is fine. Had it bad for two days.
Talked to him this morning. His smell/taste is coming back very slowly.
The older person he infected is on oxygen at home. We pray for full recovery.
