Shenzi:What's the hurry? We'd love you to stick around for dinner.Banzai:
Yeah. We could have whatever's "lion" around.Shenzi:
Oh wait, wait, wait. I got one, I got one. Make mine a "cub" sandwich. Whatcha think?Banzai:
Hey, did we order this dinner to go?Shenzi:
No, why?Banzai:
Cause there it goes.

Ha! we just watched the new version of that movie.  It was OK, but it didn't have same flare as the original.

Have you ever watched Bizarre Foods?  What you find ‘off’ in other counties is good eats.

Excellent show!  I actually like him better than the other food critic that goes around (Anthony Bourdain RIP).

Pinkie, some farms are huge due to a lack of water, to be sustainable. Mostly cattle, or sheep.
Due to preservation farmers allowed buck, zebra on the farm. It brought in extra income during hunting season. Some farms went all the way, lion, rhino... Those are known as game farms with guest cottages, restaurant close to a waterhole...
Some 5 star, for the super rich.

So it is a private game (wildlife) reserve on a farm.

I think everyone has mistakened what you are talking about.  I'm guessing as a patron at a restaurant, you have these wild animals walking around the restaurant property where you can view as you eat.  Right?

Right.
You might get some various buck, ostrich or crocodile meat at these restaurants that you will not find at most restaurants in towns and cities. Never seen lion on any menu ever.

Will the lions actually come up close to the building?

I bet that must be cool seeing them from a safe distance.  LOL I don't want to be on their dinner menu!  he he he

Camp areas are fenced in. It is normally close to a waterhole or dam so animals can be viewed from inside with a drink in the hand. Some private reserves do not keep predators, so they keep it open and natural with hiking trails.

A wildlife farmer had two female white lions since they were two weeks old.
They were like pets, but were still kept in a camp to protect visitors.
A few days ago they turned on their keeper and killed him.
We see so many shows where people are with their “tame” lion “friends".
They are never fully tame.
