You guys are talking about flowers and I was just thinking that we are going to be in snow soon enough.  Where did this year go?!

OMG beautiful.  did you see "Sound of Music"?  This field reminds me of the meadows in a few of the scenes from that movie.

Pinkie, I hope you saw Sound Of Music as a re-run.
Otherwise you are as old as me!
I was a primary school kid, saw it in a drive-in.

Ha ha ha, yes it was a movie my parents enjoyed and so I grew up watching it often!

Drive in?  Don't see those any more.  I should know this, and I'm near certain you mentioned it before.  But where did you grow up?

This year is flying by, and sadly not much good we can say about it.   Plus side, I just ordered a beer making kit!  lol.

This should be fun!

Pinkie, my forefathers came to South Africa in the latter part of the 1700’s.
I was born and grew up 20km from Cape Town. Today, after moving to the country next door (Namibia) for 13 years, I live 65km from Cape Town.

My uncle made beer when we were kids.  His place always had this strange smell.

I'm glad I asked again, I thought you were born in Europe somewhere and moved there.  Are you still able to work with everything that has been happening?  You drive around for work right?

Pinkie, my work stopped end January, all foreign tv advertising clients jumped back over the border before it closed. I worked 2 days in Fe, 2 days in March. Not a day since. I am into my retirement savings. To work again, our borders need to open, which we expect might be in a few weeks, but clients’ countries need to open their borders and not expect them to do quarantine on their return before I have work this season. Work normally starts end October for our summer season.
How are you for work?
