I noticed that the topics count at the top of the page is actually dropping a bit. That would mean that several topics have bee deleted (probably for good reason) but that very few new topics are being added.
Are we getting new members who are not posting because of "clutter"? Just asking. I would like to see this board grow.
Guess we (administrator) needs to look at the member statistics to see how many new folks joins and if they post anything (and also how many joined a while back and never return).

Well I am sure it's happening on this board just like any other forum. People join, but they do not post. They just sit back and read, but do not respond. Do not ask questions, do not answer questions, do not get in on the fun.

That is what I do, I mostly read, but in the lounge area, the fun post are... well, fun to read! I do think in other area's of the site, the threads should be kept on the topic. If someone wants a higher post count, post a new thread for use to read. he he he

Actually April thats a good point.
its nice to see a little bit of support on this thread as I thought at first i was going to be attacked, its quite simple really, keep the photography subjects about photography and yes a bit of humour is quite ok, then have all the fun you want in the lounge, simples. :catfight: :duel: :catfight:

So my take on this is that, let's keep 80% of the none topic related "fun" to the lounge area and the rest of the site maintains it's integrity. Some threads or post deserve a little "fun" hence why I said 80% in lounge leaving 20% elsewhere on the site. I've been very impressed with the members on this site and think everyone is on the same page. Excellent thread idea, so therefor there isn't any misconception on what is permitted and what isn't.

Thanks for your understanding everyone!

Much respect,

Alex

The point of the thread was for us "all" to keep these things in mind I didnt want any one particular person to think this was directed at them, it was aimed at everyone.

I'm just new today so I don't have much experience on the site, but if I've read eveyone's comments on this thread correctly, here's my comment:

If this LOUNGE area is for fun, then that's where the "crazies" should be encourage to have all kinds of fun. I've seen other sites that have a place like that and you can get some hilarious talks going.
But the areas where people are asking serious questions should deserve serious answers. They can have some humor in them, of course, but shouldn't be "smart-mouth." Make sense?

Just my humber 2 cents.

Boba, Jango was blue. I think Boba painted Jango's armour green for some reason.

Did you know Boba is Jango's clone, but without accelerated growth?!

Yes. I liked boba better by far.
