About a year ago Gary purchased a meat grinder ... but has yet to get around to actually making sausage.  But he thinks about it every now and then.

There are photographs everywhere. It is the call of photographers to see and capture those images.

I've been thinking about picking up the 'Weston Electric Meat Grinder & Sausage'

Just need to figure out all the details on making the sausage.

What has stopped you from it?

I seem to recall my wifes blender has an attachment for grinding meat.  Also has an attachment for making fresh pasta, which is incredible.  She has made fresh pasta a few times and it's the best.

Fresh pasta is the best.  We make it a point to make it at least once a month.

You know what would be fun to make?  Beer.  I have always wanted to try this.  My brother years ago, made home made wine and it was OK, but had a very sweet flavor to it.  He then tried making beer, and forgot about it, and it molded over and no one dared to try it.

That would be fun to explore.

The problem with beer is it takes up so much space to make.  It would be fun, but I would rather make a nice red wine. Or any wine for that matter.

Spiced up my coffee tonight with a little brandy in it. Going to make some short bread cookies now!

Hey any of you on a wine a month program?

Gary belongs to six wineries (down from a high of 12 wineries) which ship out quarterly cases of vino.  Additionally, he is a member (Angel) with Naked Wines, and he gets a few cases a year from them. (And Gary grows Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Merlot and Pinot Noir in the backyard).

Silver Oak Wines!  We love their wines.  Are you going to be there in August for their 2015 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon?

Speaking of wines, anyone know of a way to keep an opened bottle of wine longer than 3 or 4 days? We never finish a bottle in 3 days and I always hate throwing bad wine out.

Long day, my mind is toast.  Any of you move to electric car yet?  With all the tax credits and fuel savings, is your bank account happy?

We are thinking about getting a Tesla 3.  Starting our research.

More like a long week.  We have thought about it.  In the next 4 years we are doing to see a tremendous uptrend in electric cars and trucks.  Because of this, I think we will see further price drops.  Better to wait IMO.
