Do you think photography is a addiction? How long ago since you picked up your camera?

My husband constantly jokes with me because of the time I spend with my camera. I'm not that good, or I should say I'm no professional, but sure do enjoy taking photos.

I've come to the conclusion that photography like any good hobby is a addiction (hence my screen name! :) ) I'm just curious and I guess I wanted to start a thread on the topic, it's wet and cold outside so I'm looking to have some fun!

So...

Hello everyone, my name is Jennifer and I'm PhotoHolic, it's been 1 day since my last photo taken!

WHO'S NEXT?? Don't be shy step up!

Great thread idea.

Hi everyone. My name is Dave, and I'm addicted to photography. It's been 2 days since the last time I have picked up my camera.

Yeah guilty as charged! It's been only hours since I've picked up my camera!

Do you use your iPad to store photos or just to talk about them? I have a iPad but wasn't sure if there was a link cord or some way to get the photos on it?

I don't know if that's what you're looking for :).

Believe it or not, it reads RAW format!

I usually bring mine with me everywhere I go pretty much. Use it most days.

Of course today I leave it at home and someone at my work says: "Did you bring your camera with you today?"

That sounds like how it works! Do you carry a point and shoot or you talking about carrying your DSLR with you all the time?

Like others .... I always have a camera with me, at least no farther away than my vehicle. It's on my desk here at work right now .... Office Christmas gathering later today!!

I also like P51's avatar!

Well I alwyas have my D300 with me but dont always shoot. So no Im not addicted. I do carry it though because everytime I havent had a camera with me there was always a shot. The worst one was when I went to use the bathroom on a jobsite and there was a bobcat sitting about 100 feet from me checking me out. He didnt even take off so, even if Im hitting the bathroom it goes with me.

What line of work are you in to see stray bobcats? Sounds like one where you would have plenty of photo opportunities. :)

Usually always have my D90 or a high MP Nikon point n shoot with me-only a couple of hours since using the D90 for family Christmas pix. I shoot about a thousand frames or more several times a week as I shoot pro hockey games 2 or 3 times a week with my D90.
