I've been trying to teach myself light graffiti photography and was looking to see if anyone could share some tips with me on the subject?

You know what, I've been trying to get into this also. I have found a few video's on You Tube that are pretty good. I will find and post here.

Here are a few pointers for light graffiti. You'll need a few lights(flash lights for example)

1. Mount your camera on a tripod.

2. Set your drive mode to self-timer.

3. Set your camera to M mode or Manual exposure.

4. Set your shutter speed 5-30 seconds(If you want more time or the photo is still too dark, set it lower) and set your aperture as low as possible.

5. press the shutter button and starting doing your light graffiti.

It may take a few tries but once you locked in on the right settings your good to go.

Here's a rough try. I have to apologize since I have a bad hand writing.

@nikonshooter

I really like how this stuff looks, what are you focusing on? If you are setting a low aperture then you will have a very shallow depth of field?
