So why photography?

Have you ever noticed there are so many people into photography, some are in it for the hobby, others work and some are just for so many various reasons.

I for one am a die hard hobbyist and love the photography world. I'm not all that good, but I have fun!

So what interest you about photography?

I'm hooked on taking photos! What can I say. Seriously though, I'm a hobbyist.

I like getting out and trying to make my own art.

Well, it all started off by taking photos while vacationing when I was a young teen and also browsing through some of the photos that my dad had done many years before that. My dad used to be somewhat of a professional. He had some great studio equipment and of course his Nikon film camera, don't remember the model, was a wonderful camera. I have always loved capturing nature and creating memories.

I enjoy admiring nature so for me photography allows me to preserve it for years to come! So many memories!

Good question, I never really thought about why photography. I mostly use it to create memories that can be enjoyed long after that moment the photo was taken.

Do any of you remember Ansel Adams? I learned about him back in my high school photography class. Gave me a whole new out look on photography!!

For my photography has always been about admiring other peoples work, believing that I would never be good at photo taking. My photos have always just been hum drum point and shoot. So, it's pretty much just a hobby for me.

I am a hobbyist too, and also not very good. The most important part is that we have fun with what ever we are doing. Over time, with practice, we all get better!

Photography for me is like preserving a piece of history. Capturing a special moment or creating memories to remember for years to come.
