Looking Away From The Camera

So, you have to take the photo and the subject does this odd smile on camera .  Photos always look pretty cheesy and pre staged. What do you do?
Well, there is a simple solution.  Have them not to look at the camera!  You can turn off sound mode so that they are not aware of or you can simply just tell them to look not of the camera!  The favorite thing I tell them,  "Just ignore me.  Act like I'm not there.   "Because I think it is so changing the way you shoot pictures I've just written this tip.
Sorry for my bad English.  I am not the American.

My method of choice, don't tell them to smile, do something to make them smile, then it is far more genuine :)

Option #2: don't expect them to smile.

Other problem: Photos always end up being like BORING if the subject isnt doing something but instead just look in the Camera.

I totally agree with you sometimes smiling while posing can make pictures look pretty cheesy . Randoms pics without any pose looks very good according to me. According to me you should click pictures while the person is totally unaware of it. Try to click when the person is laughing naturally or doing other activities. Random pictures are in fashion these days. You can take a look at this portfolio . I clicked them for my friend. She totally loved them.

When you are taking picture, say something funny or do something funny act. It will make a smile or laugh in the face and the pic will look so beautiful and cheesy.
