Snow fall?

Hi All

Does anyone have any tips for capturing snow fall? I am tring to get some shots of snaow fall at night but all i end up with is a picture that looks too noisey.

Any other great tips for taking pictures of snow?

Are you using a tripod? Snow or otherwise, any shots taken at night which you are trying to keep clear and noise free should be taken at a low ISO, on a tripod, with a shutter release and slow shutter speed. Do you have an example pic to show what you are trying to photograph?

The only way I been able to capture snow is by using a flash when shooting at night.

Sorry do you mean snow falling from the sky?

perhaps a slow sync flash?

In normal daylight it shouldn't be that hard.

When the last candle has been blown out
and the last glass of champagne has been drunk
All that you are left with are the memories and the images-David Cooke.
