A few New England fall shots

8 years 5 months ago #461188 by rmeyer7
Been away from PT for quite a while...but last month my wife and I went on vacation and for the first time in way too long I got to shoot some photos!  I found I'm a bit rusty...but it was fun.  And it kickstarted my desire to get out and shoot more, so I plan on spending more time here. :)

Any comments and critiques are always welcome.

This one is supposedly the most photographed farm in New England, so I tried to do something other than the typical tourist photo by making the farm the background, not the subject.

Nice color and clarity.....I guess all that color is gone by now!

These are stunning fall shots.  The vertical one hits a high note with me, the water just takes your eyes down the hill

The second shot does it for me.
Great composition with the cow.
The cow just becomes part of the flow.

You haven't been on in a long time, have you? Seems like your wife had just finished up with school, hope you've been doing well.

Beautifully done photos. I particularly like the last one, interesting perspective and rather unusual.

I think I was still around for about a year and a half after she finished grad school.  But things got busy and I wasn't doing much photography, so I wasn't on the site much.  Things are much less crazy now, so I'm hoping I'll get out and shoot more.
