I agree. This shot has very interesting colors in it with dynamic elements making the composition so captivating.

Thank you so much Jin! This scene took a while to develop into that image. I saw the two dogs and felt a third element was needed to make the scene. I crouched down with my back against the alley wall and waited to see what would happen. When the woman and boy stepped partially into the light it was like being zapped by electricity and made the shot!

I don't think many non-photographers realize that taking pictures can feel like an extreme sport with all the adrenaline! Long moments of quiet with sudden brief but enlivening moment when an improbably perfect scene starts to form. I'm addicted to those moments and am learning to listen to my gut more and work for them.
