La Dolce Vita in Bologna

LaDolce Vita in Bologna. The capital of Emilia-Romagna is considered
the culinary center of Italy. In Italy it is therefore also called
"la Grasse, "the fat one.

Inthe center of Bologna, magnificent buildings dominate the cityscape.
Here the Palazzo del Podestà at the central Piazza Maggiore.

Inhot or rainy weather, the city is easy to explore thanks to Bologna’s
portici. Some 40 kilometers of covered porticoes invite visitors to
stroll.

Redbrick dominates Bologna’s historic center. The reflections bathe
the alleys in saturated red light. It is therefore also called „La
Rossa“, the red one.

I have the — possibly false — impression that presets
were used in some of these photographs.

Each image has been processed individually in Lightroom. I don't use presets because they are far too inflexible.

Best regards, Uli

Presets are like TV dinners…
one won't learn to cook with them! :P

Uli , Thank you for reviving some pleasant memories for me of my visit to Bologna in 2011, with your very atmospheric images of La Rossa and the markets .  Fantastic shots .

Thank you very much.

At the moment we can hardly travel because of Covid. When I looked at the pictures, I became painfully aware of this.

Best regards, Uli
