I have their largest one, which has a standard tripod thread mount, and takes regular ballheads. I use it with a D3 and 70-200 f/2.8 and 17-35 f/2.8 when travelling, and it is very sturdy and reliable with a good ballhead mounted. Very handy in places where they may not even let you in if you are carrying a tripod...
