close.  Is there a way to straighten this back to normal?  Or am I going to have to scrap this tripod and buy new.  Actually do any of you know if Vanguard sells replacement legs?

Have you tried calling Vanguard?   I would be surprised if you are able to get the leg straightened.  Most likely going to need to replace leg or if you can't buy leg only, replacement tripod will be needed.

This happened to me a few years ago, your better off just buying a carbon fiber one.  You'll never get that straight.

Think you're out of luck with a dinged up leg. Unfortunately you'll probably have to replace.

That will never become straight.  My husband 4 years ago, accidentally ran my over while backing the car into the garage.  Nothing could get that leg straight again.  Even one of my husbands friends is a metal worker.  He said it would be cheaper to just buy a new one.  So I did.

There's no way to replicate perfection...you'll drive yourself insane trying to work that leg back into place

The money you would spend repairing or replacing just the leg would be better spent on a new pod...

You might try straightening it by sliding a pipe slightly larger than the leg and bending it slowly to fix it.
