Pro Media gear insiders? When travel tripod?

I'm at a buddies place and he bought one of their 424 tripods, which is nice.  And he picked up one of their ball heads which to be honest, I didn't care for.  However the tripod is REALLY nice.  While I may jump on their 34mm series after I get some more reviews on it, the 42mm is just a tad to big for my taste.  I really need something smaller.  This one if you get the 4 section will crunch up to 20" some odd inches vs the 3 section is 25".  Kind of surprised there isn't a smaller one.

Gitzo or RRS both have and were my top choices before I saw my buddies tripod.  If they offered a smaller tripod, I would be seriously very tempted.  The 34mm however does have a good chance.

Did these guys release anything new at CES that isn't shown on site yet?

CES is done and over, any sort of announcements would have been made already.  Now it's Imaging USA.

I was just look at the size of those 424, did you see the longer one is 71" tall?!  DANG!  You can put a hanging chair under that thing while you are doing long exposures!  The smaller 34mm is nice, the head looks manageable.  But still too big to be a travel tripod.
