ProMediaGear Pro-Stix 4-Section Long Carbon Fiber Tripod with 42mm Diameter Legs

Any of you have a 42mm series tripod?  Do you find 42mm to thick or just right for keeping things sturdy.

I need to get something that is much more stable.

I have 4x 43 mm  serie 5 Systematic Gitzos. All with 3 or 4 sections.
I prefer the three to the four sections

There are others makers with good solutions on the market but, for
me, torsion was the critical point that helped me select these.

The Triaut 058B — steel tripod — is the only thing sturdier but heavy.

43mm?  Those are some wide legs on your tripod, do you shoot video?

No Rick, but for my long lenses it is the only
way I found to solve the torsion issues.

It is know that Gitzo produces the beefiest legs.

OMG how do you even travel with something so big?  The smaller one looks more reasonable.
