One body and 2 lens camera bag

I assume there aren't limits to how many post I can put on here each day, so I'm going to ask another question.  As I have pointed out in a couple other posts, I'm jumping back into photography and need a number of things.  I don't have a camera bag and need one.  I currently have just a Canon 5D Mark IV and 50mm lens.  However in the next couple weeks I plan on buying either a 16-35mm or 17-55mm.  So I'll have two lenses.  I'm into hiking and mountain bike riding and spend a lot of time in the outdoors.  So I want something that is water proof, comfortable and can fit what I have and perhaps a little more space for future purchases.

Would you recommend a sling or backpack?  I'm guessing the backpack will have more space and easier to use on my mountain bike.

Please let me know your recommendations and link to view.

Thanks again!

Travis

I would encourage you to look at the product lines from Think Tank (that's my affiliate link, which gets you free shipping and an add-on). They have a wide range of choices.

I picked up a Retrospective 20 v2.0 and a Vision 15 last year, and I love them both. They come with removable rain covers.

Think Tank carries backpacks, slings, all kinds of stuff. Excellent quality.

Cool, thank you.  For a single camera and 2 lenses, would you use a sling or messenger or backpack?

Brands to consider:

Lowepro - ton of different styles (affordable)
Peak Design - contemporary modern (on pricey side)
Think Tank - durable, standard look (middle of the road price)
f-stop - outdoor, durable (pricey with ICU's)

I would not use a backpack if I were not carrying the camera constantly and wanted quick access. If I find a sling a bit cumbersome if I'm going to change lenses (yes, I have one of those). I generally use a messenger bag, but I don't bike.

This is why folks have more than one bag. Different purposes/situations.
