This shot by astrodave is of the western end of the Grand Canyon. It’s much more desolate than other areas in the region, so it’s perfect for astrophotography thanks to an absence of light pollution. The geography of this place is a perfect addition to an astro photo, with the shapes, textures, and colors of the landscape providing a boost of interest. Nice work, Dave!
