I was listening to a podcast the other day, and they were talking about why sometimes photographers feel that their work needs to look like a photograph. When we are creating artworks, a photograph doesn’t need to look like a photograph. In this wonderful image by gerard tohme, we understand that this is a photograph but his phenomenal editing has made it into a fantastic work of art showing us there is more to photography than just a photograph.
