About Born in Volos in 1980. As a kid I was filed with many concerns about life. Sports lover, naturalist and a big fun of traveling. I am a multimedia developer and in the past few years I became passionate about photography and photo editing. Before I get in this beautiful journey of photography I was always wondering how people taking and processing their images so I decided to get in the field and to do it myself as well. I took my first camera in 2013 a Nikon D7000 and I started practicing a lot. Totally self taught is something I feel proud about even if it took me more time to realize exactly my role in photography. Landscape and architecture photography are my favorite kinds of photography and living in Greece and the Netherlands helped me a lot to find it out. Since then I cannot think my life without shooting, My purpose is to offer the world the best images one can shoot and edit .

I believe that everybody is an artist. It only takes to one to believe in oneself.

What inspired you to become a photographer?

I was always impressed by mother nature and people’s skills and I wanted to illustrate it with my own way

Tell us about your first photo that really validated your interest as a photographer.

when I took my first capture of the milky way. I was so impressed by the view and I knew that I would continue taking photos for the rest of my life .

Back when you were just starting out, what was your biggest challenge and how did you overcome that?

I wanted to be a good photographer but I didn't want to go to some school. So I studied a lot alone and I practiced too much .

What do you enjoy photographing the most?

I really like all kinds but I enjoy most landscape photography, architecture photography and portrait photography.

What has been your proudest moment as a photographer?

Your interest to my work and the interview with you :) and also other publications on big photography communities.

Tell us about time in your photographic journey where you failed at something and how did you pivot to overcome this?

I will be honest. In the begging of my photographic journey I wanted to quit everyday when I was looking at my photos . Everything seemed to be so boring . But I dig in and kept practicing everyday more and more . And I feel good because I am self taught in photography and post production.

We all have weaknesses, what is yours relating to photography?

I love sunrises but I cannot wake up in the morning and this is something I don't like when i have to go and hunt the morning sun . Also when I have to do portrait photography even now I am stressed when I have to make people pose for my camera .

Finding time to get out and shoot is another challenge for many. How do you find the time in your busy schedule to get out there behind your camera?

If there is something that you love you will always find time to do it .

Nailing a composite right can be a challenge. What do you think the trick is to mastering composition?

I think you must always try to give something different that only your eyes can see. And also always you have to try different angles when you shoot.

There are many photographers starting out, who don't have the money to buy the camera gear they want. What advice can you give to them?

Not to quit what they love and to do it even with a cheap camera gear. One day they will be able to take what they want.

How do you feel photography has impacted the way you see the world?

Better framed I would say and also more detailed. I can see things that I would have never noticed.

What do you see photographers doing today, that if done differently tomorrow would improve their success?

I think photographers have to stop thinking about likes on social media and go out to take more photos. Also they have to find their own photographic identity.

To get your creative eye focused, where do you draw your inspiration from?

I never stop looking at other photographer’s work. Everyone has always to give you something.

What is your best photography related tip?

Always try to read the light. It's all about light in photography.

What would you like for people take away from your work?

A nice smile on their faces and a big satisfaction when they are looking at my work.

What are some ‘must have’ items in your camera bag?

I love long exposure photography so some filters are must have and also a remote control.

If you were stuck on a deserted island, what is the ONE photography book you would want to have with you?

A book with many, many photos so I can keep my mind calm and focused. I relax a lot when I am looking at photos.

Final question, and it’s a fun one: Life has been found on another planet and none other than Sir Richard Branson is piloting Virgin Galactic and has put together a team of engineers, scientist, doctors and has asked you to come along to document the journey. The challenge is you can only bring two lenses and one camera body and two other items. What would you bring?

That would really be a very interesting adventure. For sure I would take with me my Nikon D610 with my two lenses the Nikkor 20mm f/1.8 and my Nikkor 85mm f/1.8. Also I would take a photo of the person that changed my life and a bottle of whiskey to enjoy the view on this planet. :)
