Jan Bedoire / Member Interview
What inspired you to become a photographer?
Since I was a child I have been interested in photography. Later on I lost the interest and didn't take many pictures but a couple of years ago I found it again. I posted a picture on Instagram most for fun and to my surprise I got a positive response, that started a big interest for me, not only in taking pictures but also in editing my pictures.
Tell us about your first photo that really validated your interest as a photographer.
As I said it was when I posted on Instagram for the first time and people really like my picture and also that they took the time and write positive comments about it. It was a great feeling I remember.
What do you enjoy photographing the most?
It´s the nature, mostly in my neighborhood and I really love if it´s some mist out there
What has been your proudest moment as a photographer?
I don't know, maybe when I sold a print of one of my pictures for the first time. I felt really honored.
How do you feel photography has impacted the way you see the world?
Nowadays you see pictures all the time from all over the world and can witness not only good things but also from warp laces, catastrophes and so on. You have an eye all the time in real time.
What is your best photography related tip?
Go out and take pictures! And have fun.
What would you like for people take away from your work?
I hope they enjoy my vision of the nature.
What are some ‘must have’ items in your camera bag?
Must really have my camera :)
If you were stuck on a deserted island, what is the ONE photography book you would want to have with you?
My book, if I ever publish one ;)
One email every two weeks
