What inspired you to become a photographer?

I wanted to capture the moments that I enjoyed and share them with others. And I really enjoy being out there in the nature.

Tell us about your first photo that really validated your interest as a photographer.

My first try of long exposure photography. I've always been excited about the space and stars and when I captured my night shot of the stars for the first time I was humbled how much better the camera can see the stars.

What do you enjoy photographing the most?

Stars because they're so magical and fascinating and also foggy mornings because they really bring some extra mood to the photo.

What has been your proudest moment as a photographer?

I think it was the moment when I heard I got a job trip to the other side of the globe, to Australia. But I'm also proud every day because I get to inspire so many people with my talent.

How do you feel photography has impacted the way you see the world?

I definitely see the world differently than I used to. I pay more attention to lights and shapes everywhere I go and of course in nature like the formations of clouds, colors of plants, shadows of trees. I feel like I appreciate the nature more and I want to share that to others.

What is your best photography related tip?

Be patient. What ever you're photographing you have to be patient if you want good results.

What would you like for people take away from your work?

I want to share the feelings I experience myself when I'm out there in the nature. I think spending time in the nature is important for every human being and I want for people to realize that.

What are some ‘must have’ items in your camera bag?

Wide-angle lens, tripod, headlamp. And the camera of course!

If you were stuck on a deserted island, what is the ONE photography book you would want to have with you?

I have no idea because I've never even opened a photography book.

Final question, and it’s a fun one: Life has been found on another planet and none-other than Sir Richard Branson is piloting Virgin Galactic and has put together a team of engineers, scientist, doctors and has asked you to come along to document the journey. The challenge is you can only bring two lenses and one camera body and two other items. What would you bring?

We want you to be in the middle of the conversation.

Do you want to share your story

YES, I WANT TO SHARE MY STORY
