2. New York Institute of Photography
If you want a more traditional approach to learning photography, but don't have the time to attend classes, the New York Institute of Photography might be the option for you.
The Institute has online courses for every level, from beginners to professionals. There aren't any deadlines and you can complete the courses around your schedule. Speaking of courses, there are plenty to chose from, including wedding photography, portrait photography, photojournalism and filmmaking.
3. Open a Book
Last but not least, we highly recommend opening up a book about photography every now and then. Even though you can find pretty much anything on the Internet today, there's still no substitute for good, old-fashioned book. It's not that we're old school, it's just one of those learning methods that's been tried and tested for hundreds of years and it still works today. Get a few books on photography theory and invest in a few photography albums from your favorite photographers.
