Before getting started, I just want to say one thing. I have nothing against any photography school or anyone attending a photography school. I think there are photographers who do incredible work who would have never gotten to such a high level without going to art school.

I also believe it isn't for everyone. I tried going to photography school and quit one year later because I simply felt it wasn't the right learning method for me.

Now that I got that out of the way, I want to shine a light on one of the truths that many of us won't even admit to ourselves. Everybody and I do mean everybody who picks up a camera with serious intentions, wants to take the shortest path to mastering photography. You know I'm right. There is nothing wrong with that. It's not like taking a shortcut to learn medicine. We all want to learn photography faster in order to start taking awesome pictures quicker. The learning process would be avoided by everyone if that was possible. Surely that would put a lot of schools out of business.

I don't think you need three, four or even more years in a school to be an amazing photographer. Anyone who says you do is wrong and there is plenty of proof against it. Just start with some of the masters who had no formal education in art whatsoever.

I think you can become an awesome photographer with a simple $12 investment. I mean it. That $12 will get you a deck of cards and this is no joke either. But here's the thing. This deck of cards will teach you what you need to know about photography, enough to get you shooting amazing photos.

During its Kickstarter campaign, the LightBox Photography Cards project flew past its funding goals and ended up 936% overfunded. Most products don't come close to 25% of their funding goals. This one was backed by photographers from 25 countries. Why do you think that is?

To keep it simple, this is one of the quickest, most straight forward and fun ways to learn the art and craft of photography. It will help you where a lot of photography schools and online tutorials fail: developing your creativity and pushing the boundaries of your imagination.

You can learn how to use a camera in a couple of days with a few YouTube tutorials, but the creative side to photography, the most important one, is also the hardest. The LightBox Photography Cards make it easy, convenient, cheap and effective to learn it.

I haven't heard a single negative opinion about this product, but I've heard plenty of frustrated photography school graduates who spent a lot of money to learn something that can be taught as easily as this.

Don't take my word for it. Check out the details here. As a final thought, it really doesn't matter how skilled you are. If you don't need these cards to learn, they'll certainly help you get better.
