Professional photographers work on deadlines almost without exception and more often than not, editing takes the most time. It's hard to work with large batches of photos without using software like Lightroom. That's why photographers love it so much and have switched to it from Photoshop for all of the editing that doesn't involve complex manipulation. However, Lightroom has a few secret features that not too many know of. They can speed up your workflow even more and that's always something welcome. Of course, it takes a while to get used to the changes, especially if you've been using Lightroom for a long time without knowing these tricks. But trust us, it's well worth changing your habits. Check out these less known Lightroom features and improve your workflow immediately.

Keyboard Shortcuts

One of the most effective time saving tricks is to use keyboard shortcuts. If you don't know any there's no need to worry. All you have to do is press Command+/ on Mac and Ctrl+/ on PC and the entire keyboard shortcut list will magically appear.

Managing Panels

Knowing where to look for a tool and how to optimize your workspace is very important. There's no point in having panels you don't need open and it's not very convenient to spend time looking for something when you don't know where it is. Therefore learning to manage your panels is a must.

Published Folder Sets

A very common situation for pro photographers has to do with sending the same images over and over to different blogs, contests, clients or magazines, but in different sizes. You no longer have to deal with creating separate folders as Lightroom 6 can take care of everything for you.
