It looks scary and it definitely reminds you of sci-fi movies, but the Kodiak 6000 is a beast of a charger.
Pros: It’s waterproof, dustproof, shockproof and it can basically take a lot of bad treatment. It’s covered with a hinged silicone lid and it’s submersible in water up to three feet for 30 minutes.
Cons: It’s bulky, it weighs 9.4 ounces and it has a fairly limited capacity of 6,000 mAh.
4.Cheero Ingress Power Cube
This is definitely a charger that’s going to get your attention.
Pros: It looks awesome and it’s certainly going to attract the admiration of anyone near you. It has six colored LED patterns that light up when you use it. It’s also got an impressive 12,000 mAh capacity.
Cons: It’s definitely not the smallest or lightest charger around.
3. Cyntur JumperPack Mini
This is one item that’s going to fit very well in your glove compartment.
Pros: Probably the key feature of this thing is its ability to jump start your car. It can even get an eight cylinder engine started. It can also hold its 12,000 mAh charge for up to one year.
Cons: It’s bulky and ugly and definitely not something female consumers would consider. It also has a less than friendly price tag.
2. LinearFlux Lithium Card Pro
By far, one of the best looking chargers we’ve seen so far.
Pros: It’s very small and it looks great. The Lithium has a metal panel framed by angular plastic that gives it a very stylish and premium feel. It also charges quickly and at 89x58x14mm it is the definition of portable.
Cons: Only a 3,000 mAh capacity.
1. Wolverine Colossal Dual Charger
Hands down, the best portable charger we’ve seen so far.
Pros: We were very impressed with the Colossal. It has a staggering 18,200mAh capacity that will keep you going and charge your device 8-10 times. The twin USB ports allow it to charge two devices at a time and the LCD display is very useful and easy to read. At only $44, 99 this is by far the best deal you can get if you need power on the go.
Cons: It’s definitely not on the light side, but that can be expected from a charger with this impressive capacity.
