I've been in the photography business for a long time.
Over the years, I've bought dozens (hundreds??) of photography accessories, gizmos, and gadgets.
Heck, I've bought my fair share of cameras and lenses, too.
A lot of my purchases have been just fine. Some have been really disappointing. And a few stand out as being among the best gear decisions I've ever made.
At the top of that list is my Holdfast MoneyMaker.
Now, looking at this thing, you'd (rightly) assume that the kind of photographer that would derive the most benefit out of it is a wedding or event photographer.
After all, those high-pressure jobs require photographers to not only be able to access their gear quickly - which you can obviously do with a MoneyMaker - but they also often require photographers to look like a million bucks.
That is, there aren't many weddings where you can show up as the official photographer and wear a polo and shorts...
The MoneyMaker is utilitarian, don't get me wrong. But as you can see in the image below, it also looks absolutely incredible. That makes it the ideal companion for photographers that need to class up their look.
But the MoneyMaker can benefit any photographer.
I photograph landscapes more than anything else, and my MoneyMaker has made all the difference in the world for me.
As I noted above, the MoneyMaker puts my cameras right where I can easily access them. That means I no longer have to dig around in my camera bag to get my camera or a lens.
Instead, I have two cameras, each with a different lens, right there at my fingertips.
If I want a wide shot of a landscape, boom! If I want a telephoto shot, boom again!

There's something to be said for the sheer comfort of this thing, too.
If you've spent any amount of time photographing landscapes, you understand how tired your neck, shoulders, and back can get from carrying around all your gear.
Well, with the MoneyMaker, you don't have to worry about that because it's the height of comfort.
The dual straps even out the load on my shoulders, and since I've had my MoneyMaker for awhile now, the leather has aged and gotten softer over time. Not only that, but it's also conformed to my shoulders for a glove-like fit.
Any photographer will appreciate the safety and security the MoneyMaker provides as well.
After installing the Camera Holdfast screw into the tripod mount on your camera, it connects to a sailboat clip on the MoneyMaker. Additionally, there's a safety catch clip that connects to a split ring that's attached to the lug on the left side of your camera. The sailboat clip is in turn connected to the split ring.
In other words, your camera is in no danger of falling off or getting stolen when you carry it with a MoneyMaker!
To top it all off, the MoneyMaker is incredibly versatile, and allows you to attach Holdfast camera bags, like the Roamographer shown above, right to the MoneyMaker.
That means that you not only have a means of carrying two cameras with lenses attached (and a third one with an add-on accessory), but you can also carry your bag full of gear, too.
I've tried all kinds of camera straps, harnesses, messenger bags, backpacks, and so forth.
And while I've liked some of them, none have provided me with the combination of comfort, safety, and versatility as the Holdfast MoneyMaker.
