Canon 5D Mark IV Specs
The EOS 5D Mark IV is designed as an all-rounder intended to perform well in any situation.
At the core of this camera, there is a 30MP CMOS sensor and DIGIC 6+ Image Processor. The new sensor allows an ISO range of 100-32000 (expandable to 50–102400) and creates high-resolution images under different conditions and environments.
One of the good things is that the EOS 5D Mark IV uses both a DIGIC 6 and a DIGIC 6+ processor. While the first one is used only for metering, the other one is intended to handle everything else. The result is super-fast image processing!
The other notable features of the EOS 5D Mark IV are a Dual Pixel AF system and 4K video capture, as well as 7fps burst shooting, a super-smooth touch screen LCD, improved weather-sealing, an interval timer, and many other cool options for creating marvelous photos and videos.

The EOS 5D Mark IVHas an Advanced Autofocus System for Action Shots and Low-Light Shooting
The Canon 5D Mark IV has 61-point AF system with 41 cross-type sensors and it is Canon’s first full-frame camera that has an option to continuously focus in Live View during stills capture.
The AF system has sensitivity down to -3EV as well, so there is no trouble focusing on objects in low-light conditions.
One of the most convenient features is its Dual Pixel Raw option which allows you to correct minor differences in focus and to make micro-adjustments, bokeh shift, and reduce ghosting, too.

5D Mark IV Video Features
The Canon 5D camera is the first model in the 5D line that offers DCI 4K (4096×2160 resolution) video shooting and allows you to extract 8.8-million pixel JPEG stills.
The only disadvantage is there is no option for full frame 4K recording - full frame shooting is only possible when you record in Full HD and 720p.
Also, the MJPEG compression type will chew your memory so you will need to have a bunch of memory cards on hand.
On the good side, though, there is a built-in Wi-Fi connectivity so you can upload your photos and video directly to your other smart devices with ease.
Final Thoughts: Canon 5D Review
Despite its bad sides, such as limited 4K video options and relatively high price (around $2,800.00 brand-new as of this writing; $1,999.00 pre-owned), users are still satisfied with the capabilities of Canon’s EOS 5D Mark IV.
It has impressive dynamic range, clean high ISO performance, an incredible autofocus system, built-in Wi-Fi and GPS, and many other advantages over the other cameras of the same class.
This is definitely the best camera in the 5D Series and it won’t disappoint you if you give it a chance.
