A Moroccan photographer is suing Huawei for using his picture without permission on Facebook to promote the Huawei Y5 Lite smartphone.

The photo, featuring a man on a beach wearing a djellaba (which is a traditional Moroccan garment), accompanied text on the company's Facebook page that read: "Get great shots with the 8 MP Camera of the Huawei Y5 Lite."

The photographer behind the entrancing photograph, Aziz Acharki, is suing the company for using his photo without his permission.

Editor's Tip: Do you have beautiful photos but aren't sure how to display them? Turn them into large format prints! See what your photos look like as fine art.

The company, in turn, claims they received the picture from Unsplash, a free stock image site. Executives from Huawei stated that the company is not, "obliged to credit the author or pay him, according to the rules of Unsplash."
