As many of you already know, I’m a huge Holdfast fan.

I’ve rocked their MoneyMaker dual camera harness for a number of years now, and just last year I picked up their MoneyMaker Solo single camera sling strap.

I’ve raved and raved about these products and how they are the ideal combination of form and function.

To ring in the new year, Holdfast has added a little more form to their lineup of leather products by adding a Bridle Black option.

Upgrade your kit with the perfect leather camera strap.

That means that now you can choose from Bridle Chestnut, Tan, or Black when purchasing a MoneyMaker, Skinny, Solo, Indispensable Belt, and related accessories.

True to form, Holdfast hasn’t just made this decision willy-nilly, nor have they cut corners in introducing this new addition to the Holdfast family.

As you can see in the images throughout this article, the Bridle Black products have a gorgeous suede-like back with no color, which means no color base and no possibility of you having stained clothes.

What’s more, this suede-like back is incredibly soft on your skin and enhances the comfort of the carrying experience.

Of course, being a Holdfast product, the Bridle Black leather materials are the height of durability, too.

Made from one solid piece of leather, these new straps and accessories will prove to be a workhorse for you for years and years to come, with a level of durability simply not seen in many photography products.

Many leather products are not constructed this way - they have a leather front joined to another backing. Not only is this cheap, but it also isn’t the kind of construction that gets you long-lasting performance.

That’s just not the Holdfast way!

In fact, Holdfast worked with a U.S. tannery for a full year to custom develop this leather specifically for photography. No other camera strap and accessory company can claim that!

See what true American-made craftsmanship looks like. Explore the Holdfast MoneyMaker Solo.

With fewer parts and no stitching, these Bridle Black leather photography accessories amount to a far superior, hard-working piece of equipment that’s built in the heart of the U.S. in Oklahoma.

In looking at these gorgeous products, you should notice that in addition to the leather, there are beautiful hardware components.

Like the leathers themselves, all the hardware was custom designed and developed in-house by Holdfast’s founder Matt Swaggart. That means no over-the-counter parts that will fail with use.

Instead, you get a fully custom product that not only looks great but will also provide you with functional performance for years and years to come. It’ll outlast your camera, that’s for sure!

As I mentioned earlier, I’ve had my MoneyMaker dual camera harness for several years now, and it looks and feels even better than it did the day I unboxed it.

These things truly get better with age, and the new Bridle Black options from Holdfast will be no exception.
