Recent camera samples from the Chinese-tech giant, Huawei, which were marketed as photos taken by the Mate 20X smartphone turned out to be DSLR images. Huawei has been caught multiple times throughout the years faking DSLR images as ones taken by different smartphones.
As it turns out, this issue was just a flaw by the company.
Huawei's Mate 20X was taken to the Arctic to test the camera under the Northern Lights by a photographer from the region who posted the resulting photos on Jiguo.com, a free shopping guide platform for new technology.
The photographer accidentally mismarked 2 of the photos, so the DSLR photos were shared side-by-side with the Mate 20X's photos.

All of these photos were truly taken by the Mate, and they are impressive.
The company since apologized for the issue and pulled the false photos from their advertising.
