Sometimes it's all in the title...

MPB.com has a new look, and their updated website is aimed squarely at making buying, selling, and trading used photography gear a simpler, easier process.

Over the years, MPB has become a global leader in the used photography gear industry.

Founded in Brighton, UK, MPB expanded its operation to New York City a couple of years ago to better serve the U.S. market.

Today, MPB trades thousands of cameras and lenses each week across the U.S. and Europe.

In a press release, Founder & CEO Matt Barker said, "I created MPB so you could access kit in a different way, making it easy and affordable to shoot with reliable and exciting gear. Thousands of you are now able to shoot with the kit you love - often funded by the gear you no longer need. We’re proud to be the way you trade and upgrade. Now we're upgrading too, with a refreshed look for MPB."

MPB.com History

As noted above, MPB began its life in Brighton, UK, serving the used gear needs of photographers throughout the European Union.

Today, MPB operates in the U.S. as well, with operations in the New York City Area.

MPB is a company of photographers and filmmakers, so there's an inherent knowledge of and respect for quality gear, and that benefits us as end-users.

What's more, MPB has always sought feedback, ideas, and suggestions from its customers, and this rebrand of their site is fueled in part from what customers have had to say over the years.

"This change is just the beginning," Barker noted in his press release. "Our team has been working to improve the MPB platform. We’ll be announcing game-changing new features over the coming months. Buying, selling and trading in gear with us will be quicker and easier than ever before."

MPB.com Review

I've used MPB on many different occasions to buy, sell, and trade-in gear. Each time, it's been a pleasant experience.

Selling is easy, trading in my gear is even easier, and buying used gear went off without a hitch each time.

MPB's grading system means you know exactly what you're buying in terms of quality and condition, and their fast shipping means when you buy an item, you don't have to wait around forever for it to arrive.

And with a killer blog that's full of photography tips, business tips, hands-on gear reviews, and more, MPB is much more than a shopping destination - it's a place to learn more about photography as well.

I dive deeper into my experiences with MPB in this MPB review. If you have doubts or concerns about buying or selling used gear, I suggest you give it a look!
