A blood clot cut off the blood flow to the right side of her brain on Dec. 3rd in her Florida home. For each minute that passed after her stroke, she lost 2 million brain cells.
After only 10 minutes, severe brain damage can occur in stroke patients. Which is why it pays to have 2 loyal pups watching over you.
Hatcher's Ring security camera watched as the 2 good boys raced out of the home and across the street to alert a neighbor of the emergency.
The neighbor immediately called 911 and the paramedics made the choice to rush Hatcher to the nearest stroke center as opposed to the closest ER. This decision may have saved her life.
The stroke center in Jacksonville was able to find the blood clot using dye and remove it using a stent retriever inserted into her femoral artery in her leg.

"I shouldn't be in the shape that I'm in," Hatcher said. "I am blessed, very blessed."
