I'm at 16 now and would like to have 24. I don't need that but it would be nice. There are advantages to having more megapixels but they definitely aren't necessary. My old 5 megapixel Minolta Dimage 7 still makes a very good image.
That's all you need honestly. I do enjoy the 36.3 from the d800 though from time to time. I've used hasselblad 60 mp, and phase one 80 mp cams and I grab my D3s the most.
This is a big fat awesome! Digging it
16-24MP I would say is plenty
Times up buddy
John are these with the D3s?
Field trip! I must agree, the detail is superb!
The problem is my photos are no longer have out of camera sequential names. So the importing the files isn't working.
Currently I'm going:
LAYER -> NEW VIDEO LAYER FROM FILE
So the files are loading in the way I'm guessing they should. Is there another way to import these or will I need to rename these with sequential names? I thought Photoshop could pull from the image EXIF data?
Yes, agree good topic.
I've had good success with partnering with:
1. Wedding cake makers
2. Bridal shops
3. Tux rental shops
4. Wedding dress shops
5. Wedding coordinators (this one always takes much more time and requires portfolio)
6. Popular wedding venues
Word of mouth has been good for me. This requires much hand holding most of the time.
Local listings are good, but get over run and you become one of so many others lost in a list
I'm just exploring search engines now.

That's not too far from Banff.
Thanks, Scotty! Going to Seattle in a few weeks. Come along!
If you could only have one of these bags which would you pick and why? I want something that is going to last me and is very durable. My shoulder strap on my Lower (4 months old!!) snapped on me today. I'm done with the 'middle of the road' bags and want something that won't have me worrying. I'm lucky that strap didn't break while over concrete. I was putting the bag in my car! So it only dropped 8 inches or so onto my back seat.
Good topic to chat about. For me, it has been a mixture of many that you have listed.
Social media is a hit or miss but from my experienced for finding clients, barely paid for it self.
Google and Yahoo paid search - about the same
Word of mouth - very good
Business directory's - very good
Relationships with wedding and events vendors - good (very cut throat and on/off)
LOL no, just saw the commercial minutes before responding!
