I'd echo what Kelly said. WP is a great, flexible platform, but it's a pain in the ass to manage. I manage a couple of WP websites and it makes me want to pull my hair out. If you're looking for simple, look at places like Smugmug that are all-in-one packages for photographers. There are website builders too like Squarespace and Wix that are much more user friendly and will probably take much less time to build a website/portfolio.

Not sure how those images were created exactly, but you're right - there's a ton of incredible shots on photography talk now. Crazy! Good inspiration for sure.

If only I had the money, I'd consider making the switch. Looks like a gorgeous camera to be sure.

I shot many weddings back in the day...with film, and I wouldn't go back. Just the time and cost to process and print is ridiculous. You don't have to take every job that comes your way, do you? If you do decide to go for it, Adorama or B&H (maybe both) had new F100's a while back, and that is a dream of a film body.....

Can't imagine how difficult it was to do a wedding with film. I'm with Effron on this one...if you don't have to take the gig, I wouldn't take it.

Glenn Gee replied to the topic 'How many frames per minute for time lapse?' in the forum. 48 minutes ago

Like others have said, it depends. Slow objects like stars might need a longer interval of around 25 seconds but faster things like a river or waterfall might need far less.

Got an iphone for my birthday and that started it all for me. Had instagram on it and it was all over!

You can find film cameras on Craigslist pretty cheap too.  Might be a fun option to explore.

I like the Etsy idea for sure. I'd also just try a shop like Toys R Us or something of the sort. They've got all kinds of toys that are safe for infants.

I'd imagine national parks are a treasure trove for thieves. I definitely hope your gear was insured.
