It's rotated about .25 degrees clockwise. More of an optical illusion than actually not being level.

But why not have one that spins, and you level the graduated line on the horizon?  Kind of like the free spinning outside band on a polarized filter.  You know what I mean?
RE*read what I wrote and think about it. Say you have a nice foreground and middle ground that you want to expose for that takes up the bottom 2/3's of the image. The bright sky takes up 1/3. How would you move the graduation line with a circular so that it only covers the sky? You can't. You can spin it till it falls apart but the graduation line won't get higher in the frame so all you can do is recompose to a scene that you really didn't want. Rectangular filter can be adjusted up and down to the horizon line or more correctly, the brightest part of the scene and maintain your preferred composition.

That's fine if you want the horizon for instance, right in the center. The square ones you can put the effect where you want.  I actually prefer the square (or rectangle) filters, as once I lock focus I don't want to "screw" a filter on to the lens. With some like a big stopper, you can't focus once filter is on in lower light shots. I've also seen many shooters that hand hold grads for many landscape captures, so you're not "forced" to buy a holder. In my opinion the holder (Lee) was worth every penny I paid.....

Ernesto replied to the topic 'Do you prefer a camera with or without an AA filter?' in the forum. 2 hours 29 minutes ago

An AA filter softens an image somewhat, so removal would necessitate less sharpening in post....I have the filter on my D800 and my D7100 lacks it. I do nothing different in capture or post.

They have to be short, the moon is bright and will blow out...Its also pretty fast moving. Do you want to include star movement, or trails? If so its best to exclude the moon, or composite it in post.....
If just a moon rising, this eclipse tutorial will use similar settings......
