Simple, there are no conditions for me.  Learned that lesson long ago.  Whether they can afford it or not, I don't want anyone messing around with the settings.

Have prices posted on site, then meet up with those that are serious and have a gig.  Otherwise to much wasted time.

Sarah Ramirez replied to the topic 'Would you use a non DSLR for your primary camera on professional gigs?' in the forum. 1 hour 18 minutes ago

Like others have said, it depends on the purpose. It also depends on the camera we're talking about. I've used my iphone to take real estate photos that I knew were only for the web and they turned out just fine. I wouldn't use my phone for a wedding gig though! I'd use a mirrorless system, however.

Sarah Ramirez replied to the topic 'Guarantee how many pictures will you deliver to the client?' in the forum. 1 hour 24 minutes ago

I give clients an estimated number of images, but it's based on the package the client chooses, not necessarily on the hour. There's just too much that can go wrong in my life for me to guarantee a certain number of photos in 60 minutes. The client might be late, I might have a problem with a camera, lens, computer, light, etc. It's okay to give a range, just make it wide enough to cover yourself in case time gets away from you.

When tripod is set up in the 6 - 10" of surf, the tripod slowly starts sinking in the sand.  Causing my images to get all messed up.  Any work around to this when you need to be in that spot for the frame?
