Yes. That lens, known as the Noct, was created exactly for shooting live theater events.

I bet that lens just performs so well in low light conditions.     That piano shot has such a sharp reflection!

Now onto the topic.

I am not American, so I don't have any real stake in it, but I think personally Trump has been vilianised by the media and isn't as bad as many make him out to be. He's certainly and interesting fellow.

I'm not sure political discussions are allowed on PT.  Let me check the rules, I'll be right back.

Well I don't have a car so I'd not drive very far at all. ;)

Hong Kong is different.  It doesn't take too long to get from one end to the other (couple hours max).

I'd go anywhere though for the right job.  Depends on the money.

I bet they'll end up with Uncle Bob taking the photos for them.

Good luck to that dude getting married to her.  Sounds like a real classy lady.

I hate the idea that some people have that photography is just pointing the camera and pressing a button... you're better off not having clients like that.

Mr. Ninja replied to the topic 'Fuji X-T2 Leaked Images' in the forum. 1 hour 11 minutes ago

I posted my thoughts on this here:
www.aevansphoto.com/?p=880

About the knobs being "huge". A common complaint about the X-T1 was that the knobs aren't big enough. Fuji (as usual) listened to their customers and have attempted to fix the problem. It's less about style and more about usability. Fuji cameras have some of the best usability of any camera I've used (and I've used Canon/Nikon/Sony/Fuji).

The battery grip will hold two batteries with one in the body of the camera (unlike the 1 that's in the current X-T1 grip). This is great because it'll help with balance with some of the larger zooms like the 50-140 and 100-400 (and the 16-55) and it'll help alleviate the battery issues (fuji batteries are known to be a weak point of the system with most users having multiple batteries, luckily they're light and third party ones are cheap as chips.

Also, the battery grip will have a "boost" switch that will increase the fps when you need it (at the cost of battery drain I assume). Which is handy and not unheard of in the Nikon world (grips increasing fps).

The image quality should match the Xpro2 which is excellent and nothing to worry about.

It'll have 4K video. Which is nice. I just hope they have a 3.5mm mic input unlike the stupid 2.5mm on the xpro2. I also hope for a headphone jack.

It has an additional photometry mode called "multi" which is also on the Xpro2. This is something like the matrix (Nikon) or evaluative (Canon) metering.

The native iso is up to 12800iso too. Which is nice. Though on another system (Fuji uses a different ISO standard to others) this is more like 6400iso. Still you can get usable shots at 12800iso with the new sensor, so it's fine for most people.

The best thing about fuji is the colours and lenses. Don't worry too much about a lack of Full Frame. These days the difference between APS-C and FF is negegable. In fact the Xpro2 gives me sharper and cleaner hight iso shots than my old 1DsIII. It isn't that far off the 1Dx too. Though I do like the look of the 1DsIII for low ISO shots.

I had the website saved and can't find it now.  All they sell are filters.  Looks crazy old, but they had a ton of filters.  Google is not being of help.  Do you happen to know which site I'm talking about?

Joshua shared a photo. 3 hours 13 minutes ago

I ticked off  a potential client today.  They gripped at my rates and then when she was trying to justify how I could accept her low offer (30% of what my normal rate is for wedding).  She goes "most photographers just shoot and throw the photos on a CD" then goes on saying "it's not like you are building a bridge, all you are doing is looking through a hole on your camera and snapping shots off, it's not rocket science.  I don't understand why you won't take a lower offer.  Wouldn't you rather have something, than nothing?".

This was the first time I got up from a meeting, and asked them to leave.  I indicated I wasn't the right photographer for them.  Then she got furious and stated, "your business is doomed, all the other photographers are accepting what they can get".  Then as she was walking away, her silent husband put his arm around her and said "we'll get someone better".  And then, she finishes off with "I didn't like that f'ing aXXhole anyway.".

LOL this story was too good not to share with you all today.  Boy what handful she must be.
