Andrius Burba is just like you and me; he's obsessed with cats.
In this project, Under-Cats, Burba sought to take photos of all breeds of cats in a way nobody ever has before.
While Burba became interested in the project because he was, "fascinated by their cute little paws which were impossible to resist," pure curiosity alone was not going to do the necessary work for the shoot.
Burba began his research aat an international cat show in Lithuania in order to find enough cat subjects.

The resulting photos were obviously worth it.
Behind the Scenes
Burba sat each cat on a glass plate in order to capture them from below.
Some enjoyed it more than others.
The photographer and his assistants used treats, toys and a hilarious amount of cooing to get the cats to position themselves in just the right way.
And as you can see from the final photos, the cat's still just did what they wanted to in the end.
The Final Product
Undercats received and continues to receive huge media accolades. Underlook, the company behind Undercats, also took photos of pups from below and will take pictures of your furry friend for a fee.
