Elks Building, Aspen, COThe historic Elks Building that sits in downtown Aspen, Colorado was one of the earlier Elks clubs. During the Silver Boom of the late 1800's, silver barons and miners alike rubbed elbows until the silver boom went bust. I've always loved the repeating patterns of the windows and the diagonal lines of this building as it sits on the corner. Using an old infrared black and white film filter allowed for the 8 minute exposure eliminating pedestrians and moving cars. Photography Cityscape Photography by George
