+1 you are getting two recordings, one in camera and one separate on the memory card you put into the unit. I've often wondered why Rode doesn't have something like this.

Rode?  :toetap:

Nope, stay away from the heat, that is a good way to get those colors all messed. Acrylic has a melting point of 320F which by that point would mess up your print.

Assuming you don't loss the card, the data will be OK.  Personally I store my stuff on WD Passports.

Brad Sawyer created a new topic ' Photographing on sailboat at night with limited flash use?' in the forum. 3 weeks ago

I've been asked to be a photographer on board a 62' sailboat for a charity race that is supposed to last 8 nights and 9 days.  These guys will be running their boats well into the night as I understood.  I need to photograph the action basically day and night.  During night, the only lights are being used top deck are red lights.  So, how in the world am I supposed to be able to capture action during the dark with no flash?  It's not like I can set up a tripod and take a go at a 30 second exposure.  I think my only option unless I'm missing something is super high ISO and blazing fast prime lens at night.  I'll use some sort of noise reduction software afterwards.

What do you think?

LOL Nikon 16-35mm is incredible lens.  B&H has nearly 500 perfect reviews on it.  I've been watching used prices on it for some time  https://www.mpb.com/en-us/used-equipment/used-photo-and-video/used-lenses/used-nikon-fit-lenses/nikon-af-s-16-35mm-f-4g-vr/

KEH sells, but much higher than MPB   https://www.keh.com/shop/nikon-nikkor-16-mm-35-mm-f-4-lens.html
