Bugaboo is definitely one of the brands of pushchairs to look out for. Now, they've added another wonderful creation to their product line which is Bugaboo Cameleon 3. This claims to be even more versatile, light compact and can conquer any terrain compared to the previous generations of Cameleon they've produced.
What could be the benefits of this pushchair for Photographer Parents?
Well, let me start with its ability to accommodate multiple terrains such as sand, snow, paths with gravel, large gaps, ledges, or as to what Bugaboo says “wooded” terrains. It can do this amazing feature because it has larger rear wheels that are foam-filled.
By simply switching the parent handle, which can be easily adjusted to seven height positions with a range of 40” to 44.25”, you can make the larger rear wheels lead the way so that you’ll be able to cross those rough terrains. This would be great when you need to take photos on beaches with your little ones.
Next is the comfort of having to bring only 24 lbs. 9 oz (seat frame, belly bar, wheels, chassis, seat fabric, and sun canopy) once it is folded. This one’s lighter and smaller compared to other pushchairs that are medium-sized just like Stokke Xplory and UPPAbaby Vista.
In addition, this pushchair is even more versatile because of its easy adjustments. It has a detachable frame that you can place in the bassinet or car seat.
Bugaboo Cameleon 3 also have an underseat bag that serves as a large useful storage. You’ll have lots of spaces not only for your baby’s needs, but for your lens and camera accessories as well.
You can access this bag from both forward-facing seat and parent-facing positions. For a bonus, you can remove and use this as a diaper bag.
Last but not the least is not having to worry about your babies being not secured in their pushchairs. It has great features for safety such as their locking handbrake, low centre of gravity and 5-point harness.
The locking handbrake can be located in the right side of the parent handle. This is a very practical feature since you can easily engage or release brake when you feel the need to.
The low centre of gravity feature makes the pushchair steady.
The 5-point harness has nicely padded shoulder straps and it is sturdy.
Another extra safety feature is the Cameleon 3’s sunshade. When it is fully extended, it covers about half of the rider. This would surely protect your babies from the sun.
With these features, Bugaboo Cameleon 3 would surely be a great companion for you and your little one when you travel around the world to take pictures of different places or when you simply capture great moments.
