How we haven't heard of this before is shocking, because apparently Japanese photographer, Yuria, only takes photos of thighs for his exhibits. So, this isn't the first thigh-themed photography exhibit to happen in Tokyo.
But, it gets weirder.

Guests of the photography exhibit are encouraged to create poetry if they're feeling especially inspired by the leg pictures. Guests can then post these poems online in order to receive a commemorative card.
The author of the best poem, picked by Yuria himself, will also get a "thigh bag," full of unnamed prizes.

Yuria plans to unveil 150 new thigh photographs in a fashionable gallery in an upscale part of town. The organizer of "World of Thighs" says the exhibit will create a "deep, enjoyable art space."

Each of the photographs will be available for immediate purchase. There will also be a gift shop with items showcasing Yuria's photographs, if you really need, as an example, a thigh-filled bookmark or phone case. Your friends probably won't think it's creepy at all.
The exhibit, which is located in the Harajuku Chromatic Gallery, is open from April 27th through May 6th. So, no need to worry because you still have plenty of time to plan your international trip.

There's no word on whether any of the thighs on display will be male thighs, but if we had to take a guess the answer is probably, "who wants to see that?"
You can check out Yuria's photography on his Flickr.
