Met a 4th generation photographer today

Talk about some deep roots!  This was a surprise.   I have met 2nd generation photographers, but not 3rd let alone 4th.  What generation photographer are you?

Honestly, this has never come up before so plausible; I just have no idea of the number of generations some come from

Well on my dads side of the family I am a 2nd gen. On my moms one of the great great uncles was a shutter bug, because we have photos of my great grandmother in front of the first house they lived in when they moved to Detroit around 1890. But then nobody else in the family had the bug, until myself. Anyone that is on my moms side is strictly an Instatragic type of shooter. But they do have two video shooters, and they are because their dads used to shoot tons of 8mm stuff.

My dad took a lot of pictures of us, and 8mm movies too, when we were young, but he never when out to just shoot like I do.  So I am going to call my self a 1/2 generation. :cheer:
