Does anyone actually use the tripod carrying case?

I'm cleaning out my gear closet and realized I have a couple tripod carrying cases that I never used.  Does anyone actually use the carry case that came with their tripod?

Indeed! A necessity when travelling, and to carry the tripod on location. How do you do that without a carrying case? Or, is your tripod used strictly in the studio?

I need one of those, even for an inexpensive, collapsible tripod. If there's no way to attach it to a backpack a carrier would be very handy.

Yeh I have a manfrotto one I got ages ago. For my big (video) tripod I have a sports bag thingy.

Sometimes for me. It really depends on how far I have to hump it around. Most of the time I can just put it on one of my shoulders with the camera mounted. If I am using my backpack then yes I use one.

Yes. For protection of the tripod and then to lug the pod if hiking very far. They also work well for toting HUGE sub sandwiches.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

I do because I usually always have mine in the car.  It protects it and also protects other stuff I have in my car too.
