In the very serious business of trying to make a living as a photographer, there are certainly a lot of moments in which there are things you'd like to say to your clients, but that you can't - at least not if you want to get paid!
But wouldn't it be nice to know what it's like to speak your mind just one time?
Fortunately for us, comedian Lilly Singh has imagined what portrait photographers have been thinking to themselves all these years and put those thoughts into the hilarious video above. The result is some truly funny photography comments.
The video starts with, "SMILE! You look kind of drunk..." and just goes from there with honest comment after honest comment we only wish that we could say.
"Your smile is a little weird...maybe show some teeth," is another example of a fun jab she takes at her faux client.

Granted, the video is tongue-in-cheek and no photographer worth their salt (or with a conscience) would ever say things like this to a client, but it's still fun to think about what it would be like to be totally and completely honest with the people we photograph.
So, have a look at the video and enjoy some savage comments (i.e., "You're just not photogenic..."; "Can you move to the left a little bit to hide your dad's beer belly...") and see what life might be like for you if you could only speak your mind to your clients.
If you ask me, a little photography humor is a great way to kick off the weekend!
