Using large screen TV in studio as extension from my laptop?

1 year 8 months ago #742130 by Carter Gledhill
So I was wondering, is there a way to show my photos in my studio on my large screen TV that I have mounted on the wall?  That and get my eyes up off this laptop and onto larger screen would be nice.

Are you Mac or PC?

If Mac, in your top search bar type in "AirPlay" and set up from there.  Oh wait, I think you need Apple TV.  I've done this before but can't recall if directly input into Smart TV or was it through my Apple TV.  Either way, fun to do, ever so slight delay.

Canon 7D, 15-85mm, 18-55mm, 70-200mm, 100mm Macro, Sigma 120-300mm, Speedlite 430EX II

A bad day at the race track is better than a good day in the office

Hey cool idea, can a USB-C cable work?   I've tried AirPlay (upward arrow thing) on my iPhone some time ago, but the size was low resolution.  Never tired on my computer.  Is the resolution high when using computer?

+1 plug HDMI  cable into TV when needed.  I will do this when I'm at home and simply want to work in my living room.  My eyes don't strain on huge screen and it's much more comfortable if you want my 2 cents. I may just get a second large screen for my office and mount on the wall.  Try it, you'll see what I'm talking about.

I don't need no stink'in Signature! ha ha ha
