10- Images showing autofocus speed for mirrorless camera
This post is a repeat from about 18-months ago ... as the question is still asked "how good is AF-C in mirrorless cameras?" The following images show a single sweep of a seagull's wings as it flew past me. At 7-FPS with full AF-C in operation, this gives 10 images for the full down & up sequence. Images have been downsized to 1024px for display on the website
The camera is a regular Pansaonic FZ-2500, fixed-lens superzoom using the Panny AF-C "method" used in all their mirrorless cameras. Exposure was 1/2000s @ F9,0; ISO-400 with lens at 250mm FF equiv
Enlarge them on your computer screen and look at eye sharpness -- then make up your own mind as to 'success' or 'failure'
