Triple process lighthouse

6 years 7 months ago #546381 by effron
I'm not too good at these, had to do three exposures, sky, light and then a light painting of the grass. Messed with it, my son likes, my wife hates..(thinks all photoshop work is fake)...
This is it, comments welcome....up or down.

I like your composition here, but I'd prefer to see the buildings and grass as they are in the dark. I think they're too bright but don't really add anything. I think they might work better if they are relegated to providing context. Or I could be wrong.

You could be right too. After spending four hours here I was also disappointed the lighthouse was out of order. I toned the grass down quite a lot, kind of overdid the light painting....Still messing with it....

This is a good shot. i also like the composition but there is something that makes me uncomfortable watching it. I just can't figure it out yet. I will comment it if I found it.

Thanks Rohan, I probably over did the light painting of the grass, I just can't seem to get it right....
